Ernestine "Dot" Sellars

Ernestine “Dot” Dorris Sellars, age 86 of Erin, TN, passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023 at Houston County Community Hospital.
Dot entered this life on May 23, 1936 in Franklin County, MS, daughter to the late Lenox Eugene Dillon and Daisy Davis. Dot married the love of her life at the young age of 15 years old. She remained the faithful wife of a career military man for the next 58 years. With him, she traveled the world, where she raised her babies. Dot had a servant’s heart, and worked many jobs throughout her life. She worked in the Florida Keys as a bridge tender, and also managed real estate. Dot’s passions in life included crocheting, sewing, and playing the casinos. She loved the Lord and attended the West TN Association of Primitive Baptist. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
In addition to her parents, Dot was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Edward Sellars; Angel Baby Sellars; son, Charles Edward Sellars Jr; daughter, Wantina Lee Adams; brother, Joseph Edward Dillon; and half sisters, Carolyn Dillon and Margaret Dillon.
Dot leaves behind her loving daughter, LaDorne Ann (Robert) Borrego; grandchildren, Jennifer Burry, Ricky Pratt Jr, Brandi Kyzer, Kristi Chapman, Joseph Sellars, Amanda Sellars, Kaelin Sellars, Raymond Borrego, and son in law, Scott Adams.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at a later date in Bude, MS, with burial to follow in the Oak Grove Primnitive Baptist Church Cemetery.
