Mr. Ellis Felts, age 86 of Erin, TN, passed away on Tuesday, January 12, 2016 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.
A celebration of his life will be held 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 14, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Rev Sammy Wallace and Rev Melvin Brooks officiating. Burial will follow in the Brooks family Cemetery.
The Felts family will receive friends on Wednesday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from noon until the hour of service Thursday afternoon.
Ellis entered this life on June 28, 1930 in Waverly, TN, son to the late Clarence and Lizzie Durham Felts.
Survivors include his loving wife of 66 years, Thelma Brooks Felts; sons, Eddie Felts, (Cheryl), Chris Felts; daughters, Debby Ashby (Clayton), Brenda Turner (Larry); brother, Leroy Felts, Charlie Felts; sister, Mildred Pulley; four grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers will be Josh Turner, Tim Smith, Chris Summers, Barry Sugg, and Lee Wood.
