Elisabeth F. Taft, 86, Clarksville, passed away Sunday, October 14, 2012 at Sterling House of Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, October 18, 2012 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Deacon Dominick Azzara officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 noon until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Elisabeth was born January 22, 1926 in Vienna, Austria, daughter of Franz and Alosia Brosch. She was a homemaker, a Catholic, and a member of the Edelweiss Club.
Elisabeth was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Elliott Burton Taft. She is survived by her loving son, Franklin Taft of Royal Palm Beach, FL; and her sister-in-law, Barbara E. Ashkins of Dunedin, FL. She was the proud grandmother of Katina Nelson, Adam Taft, Samuel Taft, Elliott Taft, Zackary Taft, and Jacob Taft. She also had two great grandchildren, Brianna and Elisabeth Nelson.
Pallbearers will be Franklin Taft, Adam Taft, Elliott Taft, Zackary Taft, Brian Nelson, and Thomas Nelson.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Assoc., 4825 Trousdale Dr., Ste. 220, Nashville, TN 37220.
