Edward Halliburton

Edward “Eddie” Hughes Halliburton Jr, age 75 of Cumberland City, TN, passed away Saturday, March 23, 2019 at his residence.
A celebration of his life will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 26, 2019 at Springhill United Methodist Church with Pastor Jacqueline Pitt Martin officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
The Halliburton family will receive friends on Monday at Nave Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Tuesday morning at the church. Masonic Rites will be held 7:00 p.m. Monday evening at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home.
Eddie entered this life on November 3, 1943 in Houston County, TN, son to the late Edward and Katherine Clark Halliburton. Eddie was a member of Springhill United Methodist Church, a member of Masonic Charity Lodge #370, and was a 32nd degree Scottish Rite. Eddie was a loving husband, father, and grandfather to his family and will greatly be missed.
In addition to his parents, Eddie was preceded in death by his great grandchildren, Bryson Halliburton and Cryson Halliburton. Survivors include his loving wife of 53 years, Kitty Carson Halliburton; sons, Glenn Edward Halliburton (Jennifer), Jason Hughes Halliburton (Amanda); brothers, Jimmy Halliburton, Richard Halliburton, Jeff Halliburton; sisters, Soula Kay Dortch, Barbara Mellette, Judy Beck, and Karen Caldwell. Eddie also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Kaitlyn Halliburton, Abby Halliburton, Coral Breeden, Austin Halliburton, Dallas Halliburton; great-grandchildren, Karson Halliburton, and Ryan Halliburton
Pallbearers will be Austin Halliburton, Dallas Halliburton, Shane Dortch, Cain Dortch, Greg Carson, Chris Pulley, amd David Carson
