Edith Smith

Edith Mae Smith, 84, Clarksville, died Tuesday, October 14, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The remains are to be cremated. No services are planned. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. She was born June 26, 1924 in Alton, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents, Leroy and Mary Stauffer Atteberry; husband, John Smith; daughters, Robin and Ramona Cooke; and her brothers, Clarence and Bud Atteberry. Mrs. Smith was a homemaker, a Baptist, and a member of the Red Hat Society. Survivors include her daughter, Dan Davies, Clarksville; daughter, Melissa Kay Love, Kansas; brother, William "Butch" Atteberry; sister, Sherrill Atteberry, Kansas; grandchildren, Jason Michael Davies, Jeremy Daniel Davies, Jason Evan Love, Sarah Love; and two great-grandchildren.
