Dorothy Tyson Bagwell

Dorothy Nell Tyson Bagwell, age 89 of Big Rock, TN, passed away Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at her residence while surrounded by her loving family.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, August 21, 2023 at Fairview Cemetery with Bro. Garrett Milliken officiating.

Dorothy entered this life on April 4, 1934 in Indian Mound, TN, daughter to the late Johnny Lee and Ocie Harper. Dorothy was a loving mother, and grandmother to her family; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband of several years, Henry Frank Tyson; late husband, Howell Bagwell; daughter, Tracie Newman; grandchildren, Crystal Tyson, Angela Tyson, Mandel Tyson Keats; and siblings, Baxter Lee and Bobby Lee.

Survivors include her loving children, John Tyson, Teresa Myers, Scotty Tyson, Phyllis Walls; and brother, Billy Joe Lee. Dorothy also leaves behind nine grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Myers, Gavin Meadows, Bristol Morgan, Braydn Morgan, Jake Newman, and Eric Mullins.
