Mrs. Donna Marie Tanner Shelden, age 79 of McEwen, TN, passed away Friday, June 24, 2016 at Horizon Medical Center in Dickson, TN.
A celebration of her life will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, June 27, 2016 at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. David Allen and Bro. Melton Gordon officiating. Burial will follow in French Cemetery.
The Shelden family will receive friends on Sunday from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and from 9:00 a.m. until the hour of service Monday morning.
Donna entered this life on July 12, 1936 in Houston County, TN, daughter to the late Arthur and Sara Chapman Tanner. Donna was a member of the Waverly Church of God of Prophecy.
Survivors include her loving husband of 59 years, Orra Shelden; children, Connie Curry, Vicky Roark, Barry Shelden, Alicia Stradtner, Mary Ellen, Trey Shelden; sisters, Nina Galland, Martha Pulley, Linda Carothers, Lois Tanner, Doris Thompson; eleven grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchildren.
Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
