Donald Lee Shorter, Sr., age 77 of Erin, TN, passed away Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at his residence.
A Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, June 14, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. graveside at Cedar Hill Cemetery.
Family will receive friends Saturday from 9:00 a.m. till 10:00 a.m. at the chapel of Nave Funeral Home.
Donald entered this life on December 18, 1936 in Henderson, TX, son of the late Evert Neal and Maneulla Elsie Allen Shorter. He proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a retired Security Guard.
Survivors include his wife, Lanora Usrey Shorter, children, Donald Lee Shorter, Jr., Katherine Diane (Michael) Leach, Elizabeth Lou Reno, Dorman Lee Shorter, Kimberly Lynn (John) Alderson, Stephen Ray (Laura) Shorter, Mark Dewayne Shorter, and Timothy Sean (Stephanie) Shorter. He also leaves behind thirteen grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.
