He was born in Honolulu, HI on November 26, 1969; the son of the late Herbert and Susan Yang.
Dennis was a member of Abundant Faith Church, where he was the pianist. Survivors include his brother, Walter (Ritsuko) Yang and sister, Janet Yang.
