Denise Irene Wells

Denise Irene Wells, age 64, passed away peacefully at her home, surrounded by her loving family, in Cunningham, TN on October 21, 2026.

Denise was born on October 20, 1962, in Eureka, California to her late parents Bobbie Leonard Benson and Venise Irene Bullen.

She attended Kenwood Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family outdoors, but especially she loved to fish. Spending time with her family was what she truly cherished, especially when it came to cooking for her family.

In addition to her parents, Denise is preceded in death by her loving Stepmother Jeanette Benson; and siblings Pambi Crandall, and Tina Kramer.

She leaves behind her loving husband Jimmy Wells, and her dear children; Leann Martin, Jamie Wray (Jason), Lailonie Farnsworth (Matthew), Kyle Martin (Christa), and Jimmy Wells Jr. She also leaves behind her siblings; Carl Crandall, Donald Crandall, Brad Benson (Robbie), Bobbie Ireland, Bert Benson (Pamela) and Jenise Inda.

She also leaves behind twelve dear grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Denise’s wishes were to be cremated and scattered in the Pacific Ocean at a later date.
