Dean Davidson, 89, passed away Wednesday, November 2, 2011 at Morningside of Gallatin.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 4, 2011 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John Thomas officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be held 12 noon until the hour of service Friday at the funeral home.
Dean was born October 25, 1922 in Earlington, KY, daughter of the late Carl and Edith Craner Todd. She was a Baptist, and a certified belly dancer, a sometime Indian Princess and the best dang pizza maker and doughnut fryer in the history of Western Civilization!! Her various occupations included a Rosie Riveter during the WWII Era, Waitress, and Ladies Foundations for Sears. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by the father of her children, Harry Jo Lancaster and her second husband, Garfield Davidson.
She is survived by two sons, Kenneth Lancaster of Murfreesboro, TN and Ronald Lancaster of White, GA; daughter, Yvonne (Mike) Reese of Castalian Springs, TN; grandchildren, Stacy Hendricks and Todd Reese; sister, Sarah Scott of Madisonville, KY.
Pallbearers will be, Mike Reese, Kenny Lancaster, Ronnie Lancaster, Todd Reese, Howell Hendricks and Russell Yarbrough.
