Darrell Wayne Baggett

Darrell Wayne Baggett, age 82 of Erin, TN, passed away April 2, 2026 at Signature Healthcare of Erin.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, April 3, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Tony Baggett officiating. Burial will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.

Family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Friday afternoon.

Darrell entered this life on May 13, 1943 in Erin, TN, son to the late Roy Wesley and Bertha Imogene Black Baggett. Darrell was a devoted Christian and was a faithful member of Peach Grove Church. Darrell had a love for the outdoors which included rabbit hunting, squirrel hunting, fishing, and attending to his chickens. However, his true passion in life was his family; he will be greatly missed.

In addition to his parents, Darrell was preceded in death by his son, Chris Baggett, and the mother of his children, Wanda Carleen Baggett Hudson.

Survivors include his loving daughters, Melissa (Donnie) Clark, Kim (Lewis) Dew, Macha (Michael) Ross; siblings, Ann Gooden, Kathey Snow, Edwin (Brenda) Baggett, Carroll (Rita) Baggett, Terry Baggett, and Judy (Ron) Elkins. Darrell also leaves behind his loving grandchildren, Kelsi (Matt) Vanzant, Tyler (Sarah) Hammond, Kayla (Ben) Redman, Kaitlin Dew, Kayla Dew, Karli Clark, Bradyn Dew, Brisyn (Hanna) Dew, Whitney (Chad) Mathes, Cameron (Jayme) Ross, Skyeler (Ashley) Ross; numerous great-grandchildren, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be Tyler Hammond, Bradyn Dew, Brisyn Dew, Matt Vanzant, Lee Vanzant, Ben Redman, and Michael Ross.
