Dakota Wayne Land, age 17, of Clarksville, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2013 at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 5 p.m. Saturday, May 18, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. Tony Lewis officiating. Private burial will take place at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and 4 p.m. until the hour of service Saturday at the funeral home.
Dakota entered this life on February 11, 1996 at Ft. Campbell, KY to proud parents Dale and Teresa Faulkner Land. He was a 10th grade student at Rossview High School and especially enjoyed music, motorcycles, and cars. Dakota was a member of the Hilldale Baptist Church.
In addition to his loving parents of Clarksville survivors include his maternal grandmother, Patricia King of Springfield, IL, paternal grandparents, Charles Land of Fulton, MO and Betty Land of Springfield, IL, great grandmother Mary Gordy of Florida, and his siblings, Shawn Land of Clarksville and Crystal Faulkner of Maine. He was the proud uncle of Mason Land of Clarksville.
