Clinton Mackens, age 46, of Palmyra, passed away Monday, December 2, 2013.
A celebration of his life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, December 5, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Revs. Terry Bear and James Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Baggett's Chapel Cemetery.
The Mackens family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.
Clinton entered this life on September 24, 1967 in Montgomery County, son to the late Rev. Norman "Toad" Mackens and surviving mother, Jeanie Pulley Mackens. Clinton was a truck driver and a member of the Baggett's Chapel Church of God of Prophecy.
In addition to his mother Clinton is survived by his wife, Kimberly Meek Mackens; sons, Jeremy Mackens and Clinton Michael Mackens; children by marriage, Danielle Wall and Joshua Wall; grandson, Daniel Hogan; and his little brother, Brad Mackens.
Pallbearers will be Pat Parker, Brian Shepherd, Brad Mackens, Jeremy Black, Richard Moreland, and David Rittenberry. Ricky Keel will serve as honorary pallbearer.
