Clint Brown

Clint Brown, a father, grandfather, brother, uncle, and friend, passed away on July 14, 2025, in Springfield, Tennessee, at the age of 85. Born on September 1, 1939, in Anadarko, Oklahoma, Clint lived a life marked by resilience, hard work, and dedication to his family.

Clint's professional journey was diverse, as he worked in various industries throughout his life. He spent years in the restaurant business, contributed to the construction field, and proudly served as an over-the-road truck driver. His strong work ethic and commitment to his responsibilities were evident in everything he undertook.

A veteran of the United States Air Force, Clint exemplified the spirit of service that characterizes many in his generation. He carried this dedication into all facets of his life, from his career choices to his hobbies. A keen golfer, Clint found joy on the greens, where he cherished the camaraderie and competition that the game provided.

Clint is survived by his children, Jannie Brown, Susan Davis, Buddy Brown, and David Brown, who carry forward his legacy. He was also a proud grandfather to Vicki Johnson and Melinda Parrott. Other survivors include his sister, Mettie Herzog, along with his nieces Cindy Castillo and Denise Matherne.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Sherry Prince Brown, his parents, Benjamin Clinton Brown and Thursie Dyer Brown, and his sister, Betty Conell. Their memories live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved him.

Clint Brown will be fondly remembered for the love he offered to his family and friends and the joy he shared with all those he contacted throughout his life. His remarkable life leaves an indelible mark on all who had the privilege to know him.
