Cindie Thompson

Cynthia Sue Thompson, age 64, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Thursday, May 15, 2025. She was lovingly known as “Cindie”.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 22, 2025 from 2 to 4 p.m. at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home.

She will be laid to rest at Riverview Cemetery at a later date.

Cindie entered this life on December 10, 1960 in Miami, FL to the late John and Joan Barlet. She had a long and rewarding career as a Real Estate Agent with Century 21 and eventually worked as a property manager for Thompson Properties. While at Century 21, she met her husband and the love of her life, Ray Thompson.

In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by her father in law and mother in law, Ray and Pat Thompson, and sister, Joan Jones.

Survivors include her son, Ryan Walters, and daughter, Michelle Batson and her husband, Ryan Batson; grandchildren, Lucas and Caleb Batson; stepdaughters, Regina, Tiffany (Jeff), Ashley (Brian), and Lindsey (Todd); sisters, Susan Compton (Jerry Nunn), and Lisa Barlet (Daniel Whitt); nieces, Catherine Messina, Michelle Richardson, Jill Compton Twist, and Brittany Rasco (Justin).

Arrangements are in the care of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home, 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN.
