Charles Nix

Charles Richard Nix, 54, Indian Mound, died Monday, February 21, 2011, at Gateway Medical Center. A celebration of life service will be held at 12 Noon Thursday at Blooming Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Jerry Shelton officiating. Burial will be in Blooming Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the hour of service Thursday at the church. McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. Mr. Nix was born April 12, 1956 in Montgomery County and was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Roland and Rosemarie Ledbetter Nix; and his brother, George David Nix. Survivors include his wife, Melissa Cato Nix, Indian Mound; son, Charles Ray Nix, Indian Mound; brothers, Jasper Eugene Nix, TX, Joseph Benjamin Nix, Dover; sisters, Lucy Killebrew, Nashville, Lillian Gibbs, Indian Mound, Alice Gross, Clarksville, Angela Deppeler, Clarksville, Robin Riggins, Clarksville, Amy Oaks, South Carolina.
