Charles Goodnough

Charles Walter Goodnough IV., 72 of Clarksville TN passed away on May 19, 2023.

Charles was born on June 1, 1950, in San Antonio, TX; son of the late Charles Walter Goodnough III. and Betsy Logue Goodnough.

He enlisted in the US Navy in Austin, TX in 1969 and was honorably discharged in 1972. He served in the Vietnam War as a Personnel man SN and after his service attached the University of Texas. Charles was a member of the VFW, DAV, American Legion, and was a member of Windy GAP Baptist church in Franklin, NC. Charles was a talented and accomplished jeweler after his service to our Country. He was a good, intelligent, generous man with a kind heart and a strong moral compass.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jade Roxanne Goodnough.

Left to cherish his memory is his sister, Betsy G. Villasana and her husband Rick; niece, Amy Villasana-Moore, of Phoenix, AZ ; and two dear friends, Don Lay and Christopher Colucci.

Charles will be laid to rest at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX.
