Celeste Cassel Meisner

Celeste Cassel Meisner, born on December 26, 1951, in Russell, Kansas, passed away peacefully at her home in Clarksville, Tennessee, on May 8, 2025. She was a remarkable individual whose impact upon those around her will be fondly remembered.

Celeste dedicated many years of her life to working as a Dietary Manager in nursing homes and elder care facilities. Her commitment to providing nourishing meals and supporting the well-being of others was a testament to her compassion and nurturing spirit. Above all, Celeste’s heart was full of love for her family. She is survived by her daughter, Katie Meisner; her sister, Mari Cassel; her grandson; and several cherished friends. The joy and pride she felt for her family and friends were evident in all she did, and she deeply appreciated the relationships she cultivated throughout her life.

Celeste was preceded in death by her daughter, Elizabeth Ann Meisner, her parents, Robert F. Cassel and Eleanor Goss Cassel, who undoubtedly played a significant role in shaping her caring nature, and her sister Suzanne Cassel, who passed when Celeste was very young.

Celeste's family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025, from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home located at 1209 Madison St, Clarksville, TN 37040. Following the visitation, a Celebration of Life will take place beginning at 4:00 PM.

Celeste Cassel Meisner will be dearly missed by all who had the privilege to know her. Her legacy of love, kindness, and commitment to others will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
