Cecile Pace

Cecile L. Pace passed away on April 5, 2023. She was the daughter of Reuben and Lilly Lacy of Lafayette, KY. She was married to Bob Pace and resided at Arcadia Senior Living in Clarksville, TN. She graduated from South Christian High School and Austin Peay State University. She devoted her life to her husband and her family. She was an active member of the Madison Street United Methodist church, Kirkwood Home demonstration club, Country Woman’s club and Farm Bureau. She enjoyed playing bridge with her friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Reuben and Lilly Lacy; sisters, Ann (Don) Crane and Louise (John) Griscom; brother, Reuben Lacy, and son-in-law, Tom Perry. She was married to her husband, Bob, for 72 years and lived on the family farm in the Kirkwood community where they raised their children. She is survived by her husband, Bob Pace, her daughter, Susie Perry, her son Bobby (Cindy) Pace, her grandchildren, Ben (Nicole) Perry, Brooke (Logan) Quertermous and Whitney (Mack) Acree and great granddaughter, Harper Perry and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held on April 15, 2023, in the chapel of Madison Street United Methodist Church at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 10:00 am prior to the service. Rev. Valerie James officiating.
