C.E. "Buddy" Gill

C.E. (Buddy) Gill passed away Monday, October 8, 2012 at his residence.
He was born June 5, 1936 in Waverly, TN, son of the late Herbert Gill and Martha Cathey Gill. He was preceded in death by his wife of 54 years, Mary B. (Mickey) Hickerson Gill.
A celebration of his life will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Nave Funeral Home Chapel, with Bro. Paul Moody and Bro. Truitt Cockrell officiating. Visitation will be 2:30 p.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday, and 8 a.m. until service time Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Wade-Knight Cemetery.
Buddy was a member of Erin Baptist Church, Past Floor Inspector for Southern Gage, Past Substitute Mail Carrier, Co-Owner of Cumberland City Stock Yard, Realtor, and Auctioneer for 55 Years.
Survivors include his son, C.R. Randy Gill of Erin, TN; one sister, Lula Beecham of Nashville, TN; two granddaughters, Morgan Elizabeth Gill, Mary Preston Gill and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Brian Walker, Robert Earl Parchman, Bret Alsobrooks, Robert Wright, David Jones and Barry Sugg. Honorary Pallbearers will be Wilbur Lewis, Larry Jones, Cass Rye, Terry Lemons, Frank Miller, Sandy Fussell and James Tomlinson.
