Cathy Groves

Cathy Delaine Fambrough Groves, age 77, of Clarksville, TN passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, October 30, 2026 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. David Fambrough officiating. Burial will follow at Sango Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Cathy entered this life on March 29, 1949, in Clarksville, TN to the late Maurice Fambrough, Sr. and Esther Dority Fambrough. She retired from F&M Bank, with over 40 years in the banking industry. Cathy was a loving mother and grandma.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Paul “Dean” Groves; siblings, Billy Bartee, Edward Bartee, Martha Sue Gog, Dorothy Jarman, Maurice Fambough, Jr., and Rebecca Lynn Fambrough, and grandson, Grafton Fox Groves.

Survivors include her children, Tammy Groves, Marsha (John) Minon, and Christopher (Marlena) Groves; brother, David Fambrough; grandchildren, Jacob (Jessi) Minon, Dalton Minon and Anderson Groves. Cathy also has her first great-grandchild on the way.

Pallbearers will be Chris Groves, John Minon, Jacob Minon, Dalton Minon, Anderson Groves, and Earl Jarman, Jr., Matthew Meadows will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
