Bobby "Buddy" Weakley

Bobby Carrol "Buddy" Weakley, age 78, born in Montgomery County, passed from this life to his eternal home on Saturday, January 25, 2014.
He was the son of Richard Walter Weakley and Elma Mae Lisenbee, both of whom preceded Buddy in death. Buddy was a lifelong farmer and cattleman. He was of the Baptist faith. He loved fishing, Nascar racing, baseball, various television programs, and he read the Leaf Chronicle newspaper faithfully.
For the past thirteen years Buddy resided at South Central Village and made a lot of good friends and will be missed.
He is survived by his caretaker and niece, Robbie Keller. Buddy had no children, but helped raise his nephew, Jimmy Taylor and nieces, Pam Shea and Robbie Keller. In total he is survived by fifteen nephews and nieces along with numerous great nephews and nieces.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Scott Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
