Bo Hagler

This world lost a dear and special man, December 30, 2025. “Mr. Bo” Alpha Odell Hagler at the age of 94 years, 9 months, and 3 days. He was born March 27, 1931 to the late Henry Clay and Minnie Ogle Hagler. He was the last of his 11 siblings. They were waiting on him when he got home.

In addition to his parents, Bo was preceded in death by his son, Randall Odell; daughters, Leah Jane, Patti Ann; grandsons, Chase Randall and Eric Michael.

Survivors include his loving wife 33 years, Patricia Ann Hagler; sons, Kenny, Allan (Jenny), Ray (Ruby), Ricky (Connie), Randy (Christi), Matt (Natasha), and Tammie. Bo also leaves behind his loving dog, Budd E. Hagler; and his 30 grandchildren, with 1 on the way; 34 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

Bo touched countless lives. He worked at the Houston County Highway Department on three occasions, was a school bus driver/ mechanic and then served as transportation director until his time of retirement. Following his retirement from the Houston County Board of Education, Bo became a cross-country truck driver.

He will be so deeply missed by everyone he met and befriended, our loss is truly heavens gain. He was Great man of faith and a mighty prayer warrior.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 4, 2026 at the Chapel of Nave Funeral Home with Bro. Ray Bradley officiating. Burial will follow in Hagler Cemetery.

The Hagler family will receive friends on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., and again from 10:00 a.m. until the hour of service Sunday afternoon.

Serving as pallbearers will be Nick Hagler, Tristan Hagler, Hunter Hagler, Fisher Hagler, Wesley Hagler, Dillon Rutledge, and Jordan Harp.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in his honor and memory may be made to Mountain Faith Mission, P.O. Box 388, Sparta, TN, 38583, labeled as “Teachers Fund”. He had a great love for the people of Haiti, and especially our teachers there.
