Blake Jenkins

Blake Andrew Jenkins, 30, of Clarksville, TN, died November 21, 2013. He was born March 12, 1983, the beloved son of Don and Sandy Jenkins. He was the loving brother of Casey Elizabeth Jenkins and affectionate Uncle of Chandler Kate Combs. On July 23, 2005 he married Franchesca Gallegos ( his high school sweetheart), was a devoted husband and father to Chloe Elizabeth and Carter Blake.Blake is also survived by his adoring maternal grandmother, Audrey Howery. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Vernon and Evelyn Jenkins and maternal grandfather, Kellis Howery.
Blake was a member of the Northeast High School golf team. He graduated from Northeast High School in 2001, He attended Austin Peay State University, majoring in business. He was a member of Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity and graduated from APSU in 2005; he was a member of the Downtown Clarksville Kiwanis Club. He also loved the Lord, and was a member of the church family at Grace Community Church.
True to the Jenkins and Wynne tradition and work ethic, Blake began his career as a detailer.He also was a salesman, finance manager, sales manager, and appraiser. He graduated from National Automotive Dealers’ Association in 2012. Blake added joy and spice to everyone’s lives and will be greatly missed by his family, countless friends, and his dog Riley.
Funeral Arrangements are being held by McReynolds-Nave and Larson Funeral Home. Visitation will be at Grace Sanctuary of First Baptist Church. The visitation hours will be held Monday from 4-8 p.m. and Tuesday from 1-2 p.m. at First Baptist. The funeral will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you consider donations to the Blake Jenkins’ Scholarship, College of Business at Austin Peay State University, P O Box 4417 - Advancement Office Clarksville, TN 37044. Serving as Pallbearers will be Tyler Maddox, Allen Rassas, Lane Bumpus, Matthew Brandon, Bryan Smiley, Tommy Stanley, Cale Burney, and Jimmy Biggerman.
