Billie Jo Davis, 77, Clarksville, died Friday, October 17, 2008, at Gateway Medical Center. The funeral will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
She was born April 12, 1931 in Paris, TX. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elmer Daniels and Lucille Jennings Webster; husband, Robert Davis; and daughter, Angela Davis Shepherd. Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a Baptist. Survivors include her son, Robert Davis III, Clarksville; daughters, Beverly (Keith) Hutchison, Provo, UT, Shelia (Eddie Waugh) Batson, Lynchburg, TN, Cindy (William) Richardson, Winterhaven, FL, Vicki Batson, Mishawaka, IND, Kerry (William) Bourne, Clarksville; fourteen grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Pallbearers will be Joseph Cobb, Matthew Tucker, Richard Tucker, Pat Kelley, Patrick Kelley Jr. and Edward "Cowboy" Waugh.
