Bettye Jo Moore, 81 years old went to be with the Lord Saturday October 13, 2012.
Funeral Service will be 3 PM Tuesday October 16, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Chapel with Bro. David Mackens officiating, burial will follow at Southside Cemetery. Visitation will be Monday 4 to 8 PM and on Tuesday, 11 AM until the hour of service.
Bettye was born March 8, 1931 in Montgomery County the daughter of the late Allen and Ruby Denton. Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Mark Douglas Moore, brothers Richard and Stanley Denton, and a sister Clara Gafford.
Bettye retired from Civil Service at Fort Campbell and was a member of Cumberland Drive Baptist Church.
Her loving family include a son, Terry Moore, Indian Mound, and daughters, Debbie (Chuck) Killebrew, Southside, Elaine (Craig) Gallivan, Dover, Rose (Richard) Williams, Nashville, Joyce (Stanley) Arms, Clarksville and a grandson that she raised, Jobey Moore, brothers, Allen Denton Jr. and Phillip Denton. Twelve grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Jamey Baldwin, Scotty Baldwin, Nicky Perry, Andrew Arms, Jonathan Arms, Jeremy Camacho.
