Betty Willard

Betty Lou Willard, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2024.

A Celebration of life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, January 18, 2024, at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens. Her family will receive friends on Thursday from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.
She was born on September 19, 1939 in Dyersburg, TN  to the late Dee and Virginia Frost Horner. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, PSG (Ret) Thomas Willard, and great-grandson, Caleb Tinsley.
Survivors include daughters, Tommie (Ronald) Butler, Julie (George) Tinsley, Susan (Ben) Smitherman, and Cynthia (Kris) Urquhart; grandchildren, Brandy, Amber, Jennifer, Shawn, Thomas, David, Sarah, Riley, and Ethan; great-grandchildren, Jordan, Clifton, Madison, Shawna, Jason, Gage, Tristan, Coraline, and Blair.
Pallbearers will be Shawn Tinsley, Thomas Owen, David Owen, Kris Urquhart, Riley Urquhart, and Jon Ward.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hillcrest Baptist Church.
