Barbara Green

Barbara Sue Green, age 78, of Tennessee Ridge, TN, passed away Friday, June 30, 2023 at Centennial Medical Center in Nashville, TN.

Barbara entered this life on July 16, 1944 in Clarksville, TN, daughter to the late Edward Perry and Ruby Pauline Lokey. Barbara was a member of Christ Fellowship Church and had a passion for flowers. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother to her family; she will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Francis White.

Survivors include her loving husband of 53 years, Burrel James “Jim” Green; children, April (Billy) Mathis, James Green; and sister, Doris (Terry) Abbott. Barbara also leaves behind her precious grandchildren, Sierra (Ethan) Suiter, Lacey (Thomas) Dewese, Cheyenne Mathis, Miranda Mathis; and great-grandson, Waylen James Suiter.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 29, 2023 at Christ Fellowship Church with Bro. Gary Akins officiating.
