Barbara Brace

Barbara Ann (Petelle) Brace, age 74 of Erin, TN, passed away June 16, 2023.

Barbara entered this life on March 6, 1949 in Toledo, OH, daughter to the late James and Betty Patelle.

Barbara was a self-taught seamstress of over 30 years servicing family and friends out of her home with her love of all thing’s fabric and crafting. She was most passionate about creating beautiful quilts, handmaking dolls and their clothing. Barbara loved to dance and sing, especially to Elvis Presley music. Barbara raised her children in the Toledo, Oh area and spent many years there with family before relocating to TN.

In addition to her parents, Barabara was preceded in death by her sister, Deborah Krempa; nephew Robert, and son in law, Martin Walborn.

Left to cherish her memory, beloved husband of 43 years, Willard Brace; children, James Wodarski Sr., Trina (Troy) Curtis, Janice (Joseph) DiModica, Michael (Tonia) Wodarski, William Brace; grandchildren, Steven (Rachel) Wodarski, James Jr. (Samantha) Wodarski, Sarah (Brandon) Loach, Amanda Cousino (Andrew Mora), Megan Pena-Cerito, Nathan Walborn, Lucas Walborn, Leah Wodarski, Rachel Wodarski, Raylynn Brace; great grandchildren, Jayden, Rylee, Addison, Havannah, Isabel, Sofia, Witten, Cole, Jack, Mia, Andrew Jr., River

The family would like to thank the staff at TriStar Skyline Medical Center Nashville, TN, and Nave Funeral Home Erin, Tenn. for their compassionate care and professionalism.

Celebration of Life Service will be held in Sylvania, OH, on July 16th 2023.
