Arlene Jackman

Arlene Frances Thierry Jackman, 69, passed away Saturday, September 22, 2012 at her home in Clarksville.
A Graveside service will be held at Wenona Cemetery, Wenona, Illinois. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, September 26, 2012 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. Following the visitation, a Women of the Moose service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Arlene was born April 5, 1943 in Streator, Illinois, daughter of Francis Willard and Gladys Marie Tyler Thierry. She was a homemaker, a retail buyer, and was a Christian. Arlene was also a very active member in the Women of the Moose. She joined the Port Charlotte, FL Chapter 1619 in 1996 where she served the fraternity as Deputy Grand Regent in 2004-05. She earned her Academy of Friendship in 1998, Star Recorder in 1999, and College of Regents in 2002. Most recently, Arlene joined the West Nashville Chapter 1613 in 2008. She was appointed to a position on the Star Recorder Board for the Women of the Moose in July 2011 and was a Chapter Analyst and Trainer for Tennessee.
Arlene celebrated her 50th wedding anniversary on April 22nd with her loving husband Robert Wayne Jackman, who resides in Clarksville. She is also survived by her sons and their wives, Jean Francis and Tami Jackman of Bloomington, IL and Jeffrey Wayne and Regina Jackman of Springfield, IL. She was the proud grandmother of John Wayne Jackman and Katrina Marie Jackman. Her sister, Charlene Joy Swanson of Palos Heights, IL also survives. Arlene was preceded in death by her brother, Jean Francis Thierry and brother-in-law Leonard Swanson.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Moose Charities, 155 S. International Dr., Mooseheart, IL 60539-1100.
