Arlan Garrick Coty, age 10, of Clarksville, TN tragically lost his life on December 9, 2023. This was sadly a result of the 2023 Clarksville Tornado that directly impacted his family’s home and neighborhood.
Celebration of Life will be held 3 p.m. Sunday, December 17, 2023, at First Baptist Church, 499 Commerce Street, Clarksville, TN with Dr. Ronny Raines officiating.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 1 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Arlan’s family is requesting everyone to wear LA Laker’s colors (black, purple and gold).
Arlan entered this life on June 23, 2013, in Phoenix, AZ. He was a 4th grade student at West Creek Elementary School, where he enjoyed learning and immersing himself in history, sports and music. Arlan was an adored son, grandson, nephew, and student. He was a protective and loving brother, cousin, and friend. Just a few character traits to describe Arlan are compassionate, caring, intelligent, and loving. He has kept his parents on their toes since day one. Like most boys his age, Arlan enjoyed Pokémon, playing his PlayStation, listening to music, and spending time with his friends. Though his life was tragically cut short, he lived a very full life. A fun fact about Arlan is that he was a Los Angeles Lakers Basketball fan.
Left to cherish Arlan’s memory are his parents, Katherine and Kyle Burnham, and Daniel Coty; siblings, Archer Burnham, Mason Coty, Ella Coty, and Leilani Coty; maternal grandparents, Martin and Barbara Robinson, Joyce, and Patrick Modic, and Barry Smith; paternal grandparents, David and Kathy Coty, and Joan Battaglia.
Pallbearers will be William Urban, Zachary Sanders, Joshua Austin, Joshua Baker, Bryan Corona, Jeff Joiner.
