Alfred Earl "Hitchcock" Hodges, 49, of Cunningham, passed away Sunday, August 5, 2012.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Gum Springs Baptist Church with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will follow in Ferrell Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Wednesday, both days at the Hodges' home, 5795 Hodges Rd., Cunningham, Tennessee.
"Hitchcock" was born October 15, 1962 in Dickson County, TN, son of the late Clifton and Pearl Hutchison Hodges. He was a brick mason.
Survivors include his children, Steven Hodges, Kristy Hodges, and Trisha Hodges, all of Cunningham; brothers, Clifton Billy Hodges and David Hodges; sisters, Laurel "Lollie" Hoard and Media Hayes; one grandchild; and the mother of his children, Karen Rives. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister, Wanda Wallace.
Pallbearers will be Scott "Gully Man" Bowman, Jackie "Fat Boy" Hodges, Billy F. "Mogley" Hodges, Joey "Tater Plow" Perry, Jason "Jelly" Hodges, Eric "Rocky" Hayes, David "Dobage Ram" Hodges and Clifton Billy "Box Car" Hodges.
