Alberta “Bertie” Stone, age 78, of Palmyra, TN passed away on August 23, 2026.

Celebration of Life will be at 1 P.M., Friday, August 28, 2026, at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Bro. Tay Joslin officiating. The family will receive friends from 11am, Friday at the funeral home until the hour of service.

Burial will follow at Resthaven Memorial Gardens.

Alberta entered this life on September 21, 1947, to the late Thomas Hatcher and Mary Estelle Shelby Hatcher. She was a christian. She was a very social person and loved to sew when she was younger. Bertie was always dedicated to everything she pursued and was a hard worker.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son Timothy “Tim” Stone.

Left to cherish her memory are her sons Jason Stone, Dwane Stone and his wife Tammy; sisters Mary Mixon, and Janet Clements and her husband Rhett; grandchildren, Brandon (Andrea) Stone, Logan (John) Deason, Tyler Stone, Jena (Kyle) Crews, and Colby Stone; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Stone, Knox D'Alimonte, Harlow Deason, Kayleigh Stone, Ethan Stone, and Jasper Deason.

Family and Friends will be serving as pallbearers.
