James Albert (Bones) Britt, age 64, went to be with his Lord on Friday, April 26, 2013 while at his home in Clarksville.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, April 29, 2013 at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with the Rev. David Mackens officiating. Burial will military honors will follow in Baggett's Chapel Church.
The family will receive friends from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday and 11 a.m. until the hour of service Monday at the funeral home.
Albert entered this life on January 5, 1949 in Montgomery County, son to the late Jessie and Erbie Elizabeth White Britt. Albert proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy and was a Vietnam veteran. He was a truck driver and a Baptist.
Survivors include his wife, Louise Pewitt Britt of Clarksville; children, Billy Guffey and Michelle Guffy; grandson, Ricky Kelly and three additional grandchildren; and siblings, Marty Britt, Joe Britt, and Bonita Wyatt.
Pallbearers will be Billy Guffey, Chris Walden, William Drake, Ben Britt, Kevin Britt, Nathan Grahams, Jerry McEwing, and Ricky Kelly.
