Shirley Norena Carter “Cricket” age 88, of Clarksville, passed away Wednesday, May 22, 2019 at her residence.
A Celebration of Life will be held 12 p.m. Saturday, June 1, 2019 at Crickets sons home.
Cricket was born August 20, 1930 in Nashville, TN to the late Virgil and Priscilla Rutledge.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Kimberly Roberson, and son-in-law, Wayne Young.
Survivors include her children, Doris Young, Helen (Danny) Grasso, James (Laurie) Carter, and Mai (Randall) Tarpley; grandkids, Johnnie Mai Oslavic, Wayne Langston, TC Campbell, David Cook, Gary Cook, Jason Grasso, Kamuela Keawe, Denise Fisher, Angela Allen, Tayna Carter, James Carter, Jr., Christina Hall, Randall Jr., and Maria Thiessen, 34 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
