Polly Ann South, age 86, of Clarksville passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020, at her residence.
Celebration of life will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, September 14, 2020, with Revs.Stewart Salyer and Tom Dowdy officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Memorial Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Sunday from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. and again on Monday from 12 noon until the hour of service at the funeral home.
Polly was born on October 17, 1933, in Nashville, TN to the late parents, Robert and Sue McCaskill, and father, John Robert Frazier. She was raised in the Panama Canal Zone. Polly retired after 31 years with the US Government and 10 years as the Secretary for Forest Street United Methodist Church. She was a member of Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church and loved taking care of her family.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her siblings, Robert Neal Frazier and Jennie Frazier Cowell.
Survivors include her loving husband of 66 years, Bill South; daughter, Karen (Charlie) Rone; grandchildren, Joshua (Jennifer) Sawyer, Caleb (Misty) Sawyer, Isaac (Roseana) Flowers, Matthew (Amy) Rone, Jennifer Davis, and Merideth (Clint) Chapman; great-grandchildren, Taylor (Aaron) Reenock, Kaitlin Hutson, Rylee Sawyer, Alyssa Sawyer, Laney Sawyer, Kailyn Sawyer, Lindsey Davis, Ethan Rone, Elizza Rone, and great-great-grandchild, Carter Reenock.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Sawyer, Caleb Sawyer, Isaac Flowers, Charlie Rone, Stanton Norfleet, and Dean Hutchison.
Memorials may be made to Bethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church or American Red Cross.
