Monnie Kate Perry Powers passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2020. Born April 7, 1924 in Caldwell County, KY to Harley O. and Flossie S. Thomas.
In addition to her parents she is predeceased by husbands Robert Perry and Walter Powers.
She is survived by sons, Bob (Mary) Perry, Kingston Springs, and Tom (Susie) Perry, Clarksville; grandchildren, Martha Brooke (Jeffrey) Martin, Kingston Springs and Ben (Nicole) Perry, Nashville, two great-grandchildren, and sister, Vernell T. Sowell, Hopkinsville.
A Memorial Service will be held in the chapel of Madison Street United Methodist Church at 4:00p Sunday, January 12, 2020. The family will receive friends from 2:00p until the time of the service.
In lieu of flowers the family request contributions to the FUEL Program at Kingston Springs United Methodist Church, 368 Main Street, Kingston Springs, TN 37082 or the FUEL Program at Madison Street United Methodist Church, 319 Madison St. Clarksville, TN, 37040.
