Lucie E. Hernandez, age 85, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2022, while at Hickory Hills Alzheimer's Special Care Center.
A Visitation will take place from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, February 21, 2022 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. She will be privately laid to rest with her husband, SGM Juan Hernandez, US Army (Ret), at the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West.
Lucie was a proud Army wife and supporter of her husband's career throughout the years.
Survivors include her daughter, Gabrielle Whalley; grandchildren, David Glen Hill II, Lauren M. Whalley, and Dylan T. Whalley; and her great grandchildren, Selena M. Whalley and Matthew Whalley.
