Leslie was my first squad leader in the Army at Ft. Campbell HHC 1/502 mortar platoon in 1993. I had the pleasure of serving with man.JTF 6-15, Operation Safe Passage, JOTC,JRTC to name a few deployments. I truly looked up to him. He went to egypt and came back to the 101st and served with him again at HHC !/502. He was there when I reenlisted. I was shocked to see my picture in the tribute of my reenlistment photo with CPL Odom by my side. He would make me laugh all the time. I am truly saddened. Too young.. Thanks for those few years together and teaching me how to be a soldier and man. First Strike Cpl. Odom
