Lena Blackwell

Lena Marie Blackwell, age 97 of Cunningham, TN passed away Tuesday, June 28, 2022, at her home.
Celebration of Life will be held 2 p.m. Thursday, June 30, 2022, at Gray’s Chapel Church of The Nazarene with Rev. Mike Proctor officiating. Burial will follow at Greene Cemetery.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Lena entered this life on December 4, 1924, in Portage, PA to the late Jacob and Christine Brunnet Pauley. She was a member of Gray’s Chapel Church of The Nazarene.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Ree Blackwell Sr.
Survivors include her children, Lewis R. Blackwell, Jr. and his wife, Judy, Alan Lee Blackwell, and his wife Nelda Kaye, Donald G. Blackwell, Sr. and his wife, Lillie Faye, Thomas E. Blackwell, Sr. and his wife, PJ, John Wesley Blackwell, and Christine Hagewood, and her husband, Chris, grandchildren, Melissa Daniel, Jennifer Blackwell, Donald G. Blackwell Jr., Felicia Marie Iversen, Christopher Blackwell, Tommy Blackwell, Jr., James Martin Blackwell, Jessica Marie McRee, Mark Blackwell, Angela Renay Jones, Scotty Hagewood, Spencer Hagewood, and Tiffany Leatherwood, sixteen great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
