Kun Valentine

Kun Hwa Valentine, age 72, of Clarksville, passed away on Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare.

A Celebration of Life will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, February 6, 2020 at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home with Pastor Shawn Scott officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 from 3 to 6 p.m. and again on Thursday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the funeral home.

Kun entered into this life on June 9, 1947 in Seoul, Korea. She was a member of AmVets Post 78. Kun enjoyed time with friends, reading, working puzzles, bingo, playing cards, cooking, Russian Literature, gardening and Korean soap operas. What she enjoyed most, was spending Sundays with her loving son.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Survivors include her son, Maress Valentine; special friends of over 30 years, Yung Berquist, Suk Lee Bryant, Jewell Conley, Janet Choate, and Suki Villanueva. She also leaves behind a son, Terry; former spouse, Dwight Shepherd Valentine, a host of siblings and numerous other friends and family members.
