I grew up in C'Ville and in the Church on Hwy. 48. Growing in this Church meant you became part of the Church family and as such, got to know most. I knew Sis. Stone and her family well. She and her family were Pillars of the Church. The best way I recall her is to describe her simply as "sweet, kind, quiet but strong, supportive, loved her Church and Church family."
It's sad that we lost another Saint but IF we could, for one second, feel and see a fraction what she's experiencing RIGHT now? I think our hearts would rejoice for her; meanwhile, since we can only see things from this side of the veil, we hurt, we cry and recall her in our mental scrapbook and enjoy good memories. To her family I say I'm sorry, at the same time, I say "let not your heart be troubled." Grasp another "mental" picture....See her, with all the others gone on before, in Heaven. They are smiling, laughing, talking, loving....oh, and they see Jesus! Pretty cool.....huh?
