I struggle to find the words to express my condolences. Mr. Paul was a father figure to me. Don't get me wrong, I had an amazing father. But, Mr. Paul was always ready to be a protecter. A example of how we should act, of God's perfect love. I knew that he loved me and he knew my love for him. He carried us to county fairs and haunted houses. He never complained. He showed us that he loved us by supporting us. Even into adulthood he stood by me. I will miss him greatly. I would always thank him for being the perfect father to one of my very best friends. He was a blessing to me.

I hated to hear that sweet Mr. Paul had passed away. My heart is broken, but my heart also rejoices because I know he’s home with his precious wife and with Jesus. We had many many sweet conversations and every one of them circled back to how deeply he missed his wife and to how much he loved the Lord. I know he’s with them now. My heart breaks for his family. Please know my thoughts and prayers are with you all. Thank you Lord for allowing my path to cross with Mr. Paul. After my grandfathers passing, he reminded me of him through his kindness, his friendship, and his love. He will forever be incredibly special to me and I will miss him terribly.

Dear Lindsey, My Daddy loved you and spoke of you often. He sure enjoyed y’alls talks together and said you were the sweetest little girl. The picture of the two of you from your visit meant a lot to him. We included it in the video tribute that you can view below. Please know that you were so special to him and you always made his heart smile. Much love to you, Paula & family
