James was a man. James was a kind man. James was a kind and helpful man. James was a kind and helpful man who cared about other people.

He didn't care how hard it was, or how many people he had to call or how many computer sites or programs he need to configure or figure it out, James always got it done. Not only was he successful, and determined to achieve success, but he didn't complain about how hard it was, or how long it would take for him to do it. James got it done.

James, if you can hear me or if you can read this message from up above, I want to tell you that a grateful Nation appreciates you for all that you were and all that you did for tens of thousands of people over the course of your career. Your dedicated and selfless service is appreciated and will be remembered. When you left, there was a hole in our organization. A hole that can't be filled because we were better as an organization, because you served well. More important than the job, I thank you for the man that you were. I thank you for giving of yourself and pouring heat, energy, and enthusiasm into others in the form of kindness, compassion, and care. In the end of life, we are what people remember. We will be but a memory to someone else. My memory of you will be a kind and helpful man who cared about other people and made them feel like they mattered. As I type this message, I feel a joy in my heart, for your spirit. I know that you went to be with the Lord so when I get to Heaven, if there's any problems, please find me and help me. I know if you're on the job, you'll make sure I get there with no problems. After I make it there, I want our spirits to give each other a spiritual hug and I want to thank you for being you. Until then, I'll see you on the high ground, brother!
