He's my neighbor...a good man he was ready for the Lord to take him... James taught me how to make something to start fire in wood stove is to make kerosene in Ash mix it up in a paint can to the consistency like bread dough not too wet not too dry... Scoop out a little bit put it under the kindling and light it and there you go to this day I still have that paint can that I mixed it up in... Been doing that ever since.... I remember the accidents he had he survived God made sure that... He loved rabbit hunting traded a lot of dogs... He'd shared some rabbit with me... He come up to me asked if I wanted the rabbits he had a few times I said sure I'll take them guess he didn't want to fool with them... If I didn't have something I needed i I'd ask James if he had it and he did... Back in the day his friends and I would Hangout at his place cut up share stories had some laughs... I always used to walk down to his house but one day I drove and as I left between his house and mine I stopped in the middle of the road... There was this copperhead stretched from the white line to the yellow line... James came down thought I was broke down but instead I stopped the car on top of that snake he said man that's the biggest snake I've seen in my life I've lived here all my life never seen one that big he asked what I'm going to do with it... don't know... I got nothing to get ahold of him with... But then it dawned on me... jumper cables !!.. I reached in the trunk got the jumper cables out clamped it on a snake and rolled off the snake that snake like took off my jumper cables!... I'm like oh no you don't buddy come back here... James was surprised to see how long big that snake was!... Every time I see him sitting outside I go have a talk with him and be there awhile he liked to talk... Shared all kinds of stories ... been a time or two he'd asked me to if I could split some wood for him I remember he always go and get wood... God bless you James going to miss you 🙏🙏🙏🙏
