Jack Hallums Dowlen, Jr., age 72, of Indian Mound, passed away Sunday, August 16, 2020 at Tennova Healthcare.
Jack entered this life on April 7, 1948 in Chelsea, MA to the late Jack H. Dowlen, Sr. and Katherine Stewart Dowlen. He was a graduate of Austin Peay State University and a Veteran of the United States Navy. After joining the Navy, he attended Avionics School and was attached to Fighter Squadron VF 211. Jack served three tours in Vietnam and was a recipient of the Navy Cross. Jack went on to become a business owner and installer in the Telecommunications industry.
Survivors include his sons, Josh, and Cody Dowlen; twin brother, Stewart Dowlen, and sisters, Carol Dowlen McGregor and Kathy Dowlen Gaines.
