Greg Michael Canaan, 40, passed away Friday, December 27, 2019 at his residence.
A Memorial service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, January 2, 2020 at New Providence United Methodist Church with Pastor Jodi McBryant officiating.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4 p.m. until the hour of service at the church.
Greg was born on April 12, 1979 in Germany to Frank Canaan and Kathy Canaan. He was a member and youth leader of New Providence Methodist Church and participated in the Relay for Life. Greg enjoyed watching baseball and football, especially the Florida Gators.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Skylar Canaan; sister, Tracey Canaan; brother, Matthew (Shelby) Canaan; nieces, Kelsey Deboard, Marion Canaan; nephews, Lance Kalnai, Braden Canaan; paternal grandmother, Irene Canaan, and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.
