Gloria is preceded in death by her mother Molly; brother, Michael Appleman; sister, Burma Bowen, and brothers-in-law, John Meacham, and Marvin Richards.
Survivors include her husband of 51 years, Thomas Bassingthwaite; daughters, Jennifer (Donald) Terrell, and Rebecca Whipple; grandchildren, Abigail Purnell, and Austin Terrell; step-father, Harvey Appleman, and sisters, Julia Meacham, and Janet Richards.
