Elaine Alice Wiegand Ellis went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 21st, 2020.
Elaine lived a full and blessed life for 85 years. She was surrounded by her family and prayers as she slipped from this world. She loved life, living, reading, and her Lord Jesus. Elaine was happiest when surrounded by her family and beloved pets. She lived her life mostly in and around Toledo OH, but has recently made Tennessee her home near her daughter Dr. Kathryn Ellis-Bates.
She is survived by her lifetime love of 60 years Mr. Donald Ellis of Toledo, OH a Navy veteran, and her three daughters, Jeanne Kerr, Dr. Kathryn Ellis-Bates, and Barbara Estrada, along with their families. Elaine is also survived by five grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the chapel of McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home. She will be laid to rest at Bethel Memorial Cemetery. The family has requested donations be sent to the Clarksville Humane Society in lieu of flowers.
